The establishment of a new position in the Government, that of deputy secretary general, comes instead of a position of Secretary of State, which is why the salary budget remains the same, according to USR.

The party led by Dominic Fritz states in an information to the press that “it is important to know that the number of positions in the Government is not increased” and that “the salary budget is not increased”.

“So far they were subordinated to the SGG (n. Red. To the General Secretariat of the Government) 2 deputy general secretaries and 2 state secretaries, now are 3 SGA (n. Red. Deputy General Secretaries) and a Secretary of State,” according to USR.

The USR states that the deputy generals of the Government have the rank of Secretary of State: “Practically, the number of positions does not change, the salary budget is not increased.”

The government has set up a new post of dignitary in the Government. The unions criticize the decision

The government adopted in Thursday's meeting a decision establishing another position of deputy secretary general in the structure of the SGG, a key structure that deals with the approval of the projects passing through the government or budgets.

The change comes after “a month ago it was decided to have the PSD to have the Secretary General, and PNL, USR and UDMR have deputy general secretaries in the SGG, but the measure has been postponed,” sources from Hotnews said.

The National Trade Union Confederation “Cartel Alfa”, the National Federation of Administration unions and the employees' union in the Government's work apparatus reacted on Thursday in a common press release, accusing the Government of hypocrisy and double against the establishment of a new dignitary position.

“In full speech about the reduction of the budgetary apparatus and the efficiency of the administration, the government, in a perfect synchronous gesture with the institutional hypocrisy, will adopt, today, by decision, the extension of its own dignitaries, establishing another position of deputy secretary general within the General Secretariat of the Government,” accuses the three organizations.
