In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Chairman of the CPC stole the money of the depositors and fell under the “criminal”

In Minusinsk, investigators opened a criminal case against the already convicted head of the credit and consumer cooperative. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

Earlier, a 69-year-old woman applied to the police. She told law enforcement officers that the CPC employees fraudulently abducted all her savings. During the proceedings, law enforcement officers found that several years ago a pensioner found out about the consumer cooperative in her city, who promises to the depositors good interest from the funds they paid.

The woman signed the contract and brought her money to the CPC. However, after the time, when she needed to get her accumulations back with interest, she found that this organization had come out of the rented office, and the cooperative was liquidated. The amount of damage caused by the victim amounted to about 2 million rubles.

“During the operational-search measures, police officers found that a 45-year-old chairman of the credit and consumer cooperative, who was currently convicted of fraud with maternal capital in the city of Abakan, was involved in the Khakassia republic,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale).

According to existing operational data, the defendant is involved at least one similar crime, perfect against a resident of Minusinsk. Thus, the 53-year-old shareholder who became a victim of deception introduced 808 thousand rubles to the consumer cooperative at high interest. However, he no longer saw his money. Now on this fact a check is being carried out.
