In Krasnoyarsk, after the prosecutor’s inspection, the design of the bridge and the retaining wall near the June shopping center will be strengthened.

The prosecutor’s office said that in 2011, a bridge was built to enter the shopping center, connecting Partizan Zheleznyak and Parking Street, as well as a retaining wall from the October Bridge. However, the commissioning of structures was not carried out. These objects were not included in the organization of the city street network and, as a result, were left without special maintenance.

“The constant use of structures without the necessary maintenance has led to a deterioration in the technical condition and restriction of performance. This poses a threat of emergency, ”the department explained.

The prosecutor's office has already introduced submission to the head of the municipal “Directorate of roads, infrastructure and improvement”, as well as the owner of the shopping center. After that, they checked the technical condition of the facilities, and also entered into an agreement to strengthen the building structures of the retaining wall and overpass. And the owner of the June shopping center filed a lawsuit in the arbitration court to recognize the ownership of objects.
