In the Dzerzhinsky district, a man died in a fire. The incident was reported to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the region.
The tragedy occurred in the village of Dzerzhinskoye, where on the morning of March 14, the veranda with the boiler room near a two-apartment residential building caught fire. The fire was extinguished in a total area of 21 square meters using 7 people and 2 pieces of equipment.
While extinguishing the fire, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations discovered the lifeless body of a man on the floor of the veranda. One person was rescued by the gas and smoke protection service.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was careless handling of fire.
In total, nine fires were extinguished in the region over the past 24 hours.
