The Bureau of the Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.) adopted a decree “On the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the formation of the Jewish Autonomous Region”. The departments of the regional party committee set tasks to wide coverage of the achievements of the workers of the region for this period. Measures were approved that should be held in the regional center and in the regions of the region.

The newspaper of the Obluchensky district “Iskra Hingan” (12+) on April 19, 1962 was dedicated to the upcoming birthday V.I. Lenin. On the pages of the newspaper, an article by the pensioner “I listened to Ilyich” was published, it tells that Isaac Efimovich Tregubov lives in the city of Obluchye, who was lucky enough to see and hear Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. Isaac Efimovich recalls August 1919, when the headquarters of the Western flotilla was transferred to Moscow to Red Square “And now we saw an open passenger car that was slowly moving between the rows, in which Vladimir Ilyich was standing … For the rest of my life I remembered every word spoken by Lenin. Ilyich’s speech inspired us to new exploits. With the name of Lenin and with the Duma about the Bolshevik party, we went to battle about the Soviet Motherland. We won the roads of Vladimir Ilyich. Our faithful, and this road sooner or later the rest of the countries will go … “.
On the pages of the newspaper there is an article by the senior pioneer leader of the Obluchenskaya eight -year school No. 1 Gridin “School Museum of V.I. Lenin”. The pioneer leader tells in the article how the school museum was formed, how it was designed, and that patriotic events are being held in the museum.

On April 19, 1980, the Birobidzhan Star newspaper informed its readers that in Birobidzhan a show of amateur performances (6+) of enterprises, organizations, secondary educational institutions took place. About two thousand people from eighteen creative groups took part in it. The review was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin.
Interesting, substantial, multi -gling programs showed groups of shoe and sewing factories, a factory of power transformers, a pedagogical school, and the Palace of Culture. At the competition, choral and solo singing, dancing, brass bands, vocal and instrumental ensembles, art reading, sports numbers and compositions dedicated to the upcoming Moscow Olympics (6+) were presented.
In the same newspaper, the article by Viktor Solomatov “Price of Victory” tells about the participant in the Great Patriotic War Alexander Efimovich Veksler. Moscow and Stalingrad, Kursk Duga, Dnieper … Each of these names is noted in the front -line biography of Alexander Efimovich. And every battle entered the biography of our countryman either by a combat order or a wound.

On April 19, 2005, the Birobidzhan Star newspaper wrote that by decree of the President of the Russian Federation for many years of public work on social support of war veterans and patriotic education of youth, the medal of the Order for Merives of the 2nd degree were awarded: Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the village of the Obluchensk district, EAO Boris Martyk Chairman of the Council of Veterans of War and Labor of the Municipality “Leninsky District” of the EAO Ivan Nikolaevich Tomilov.
The same newspaper posts that the four Golden support prizes received the region’s enterprises in the competition among consumers (12+), declared by Russian power engineers. This competition was held for the first time. Special Award “Golden support” and diplomas signed by the chairman of the board of the RAO “UES of Russia” Anatoly Chubais.
In the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Golden Right prize received the agricultural enterprise LLC “Bogatyr” from the village of Ekaterino-Nikolskoye Oktyabrsky district. In the category of “small business enterprises” – an emergency Brener, among industrial enterprises – the Birobidzhanskaya knitted factory “Victoria”. And the city hall of the city of Birobidzhan won the category “enterprises financed from the budget.”
