Two trams collided on Wednesday, at the intersection between Giurgiului Road and Oltenita Road in the Capital, without the need for any of the travelers to be transported to the hospital. Two people have on -site medical care.
“On July 30, around 12:40, the Road Brigade was notified by call 112 regarding the production of a traffic accident at the intersection between Giurgiului Road and Oltenita Road, in which two trams were involved. Following the traffic accident, two persons received a medical care,” Road, quoted by Agerpres.
Both vehicle drivers were tested with equipment provided, the results being negative.
As a result of the accident, the trams were temporarily restricted on the way to the Giurgiului Road.
STB announced that the lines of trams 1, 7, 10, 19 and 25 were blocked on Sos. Giurgiului, at Șura Mare, CFR Progress, due to a “traffic event”.
In April 2025, two trams, one old and one new, were involved in an accident in the hero of the Revolution in the Capital, the traffic being blocked at the peak time.
