In the Krasnoyarsk Park “Sunny Polyana” last Saturday, a holiday of Russian culture took place. They organized a large fair area, guests played folk games, drove round dances for Russian folk and modern patriotic songs, listened to cognitive lectures, participated in master classes and other thematic events.

In the contest “girlish beauty is a long braid”, Irina Ageenko won among adult participants with a record result – 101 centimeters. The second and third places went to the faith of Belskaya (71 cm) and Sofya Botalova (62 cm), respectively.
In the nomination “An elegant girl”, Anna Ivanova won among adults, with her husband, they independently created folk costumes for themselves and their children. Among the participants aged 6 to 12 years, Vladislav Kovaleva became the brightest, and Maria Rau was among adolescents.
Men demonstrated power. The winner was Mikhail Bobkov, he raised a 16-kilogram weight with one hand 80 times and was recognized as the strongest hero. “It was very difficult, despite the fact that I have been playing sports for a long time,” He commented.
Also, the guests showed a collection of folk costumes, the organizers told how the girl’s outfit changed after marriage, how urban and rustic clothing were different. The holiday ended with the performance of the Krasny Yar ensemble.
