Krasnoyarsk businessman fell under a criminal case for a debt of 9 million rubles to employees

In Krasnoyarsk, the company Bright Energo LLC owed to employees 9 million rubles of wages. A criminal case was opened against the director, the prosecutor's office said.
Under the investigation was the director of Bright Energo LLC – The company is engaged in the supply of materials for electric power facilities. The organization was not bankrupt, its accounts were replenished, but since June 2025, the remuneration of some employees was suspended.
“While the company's accounts were replenished, and business processes were boiling, 30 employees found that their work is no longer paid. Neither patient expectations, nor, probably, questions for leadership. For a few months, the debt to the team increased to the amount of 9 million rubles, turning from a delay into a full -fledged debt“, – They told the prosecutor's office.
Employees of the department conducted an audit. The company was obliged to pay employees a debt, but it was only partially repaid – 5 million rubles were not enough.
In relation to the director of Bright Energo, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Art. 145.1 of the Criminal Code for non -payment of wages. The punishment under this article implies a fine of up to half a million, forced work or imprisonment for up to 3 years.
