Five criminal cases for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition were opened against Kodinets

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 46-year-old resident of Kodinsk was found with illegal weapons and ammunition.

The police established that the man kept a Vepr model carbine and 110 rounds of ammunition at his home; metal insert for smooth-bore hunting weapons of 28 caliber, intended for shooting sporting and hunting cartridges; as well as 45 self-loading cartridges of various calibers and 1.2 kg of gunpowder.

The arsenal was confiscated. The man explained that he got it from his father.

Five criminal cases were opened against Kodinets for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition: under Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 1, Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 1, Art. 223 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant was taken into custody during the investigation. He was previously convicted of drug possession.
