Samsung Electronics has earned an order of $ 16.5 billion to produce the next generation of personalized chips for AI Tesla. The contract is for eight years and gives a “impulse” to the Samsung processor division that has not had great years.

The personalized chip will be used for autonomous tesla technologies and humanoid robots.
The contract comes at a suitable time for Samsung that has constantly lost land in the field of chip production in recent years. The company, which produces its own memory chips and manufacturers and for other customers, has encountered difficulties in attracting sufficient orders to produce at full capacity.
The situation contrasts with that of the leader Taiwan Seconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) who has received so many orders that he fails to cope with the request. TSMC has 67% of the global market, and Samsung, 8%.
Samsung was postponed for 2026 the start of operations in the 2 -nanometrous 2 -nanometrous technology factory, the state of Texas, because it had difficulties in attracting large customers.
