In the south-east of the country, the heat reached 40 ° C and even significantly exceeded this indicator. At one of the weather stations, a temperature of 41.3 ° C was recorded.

Thus, the temperature exceeded the highest temperature ever registered in Hungary by 0.6 ° C. A daily maximum of 40.4 ° C was recorded in 1921, i.e. 104 years ago.

The service notes that in the afternoon there was a huge difference in temperature between the southeast and western regions.
