The document, known as the volume 5-“Treaties and Vulnerabilities and Vulnerabilities-was published in 2020 and aimed to investigate the alleged Russian interferences in the 2016 presidential elections. Although the official conclusion of the report was that there were no clear evidence regarding a direct collaboration between the Campaign Staff and the Kremp's Campaign Staff outlines possible vulnerabilities of the candidate since then.

One of them refers to a woman whose name has deleted, but which is described as a possible “former queen of beauty in Russia.” The American and British press – including The Daily Beast and The Viewer – have suggested that it could be the Kalinina Masa, the winner of the first beauty contest in the Soviet era, held in 1988.

At that time, Donald Trump was married to actress Marla Maples and was on a business visit to Moscow in November 1996, along with a group of investors interested in the real estate market. According to the report and reports that appeared in the Russian press in the late 1990s, Trump would have participated in a private reception organized at the Baltschug Kempinski hotel, where he had met Kalinina. In an article published in 1998 by Kommersant, the US billionaire was quoted by saying that Masa Kalinina “was not even shaded by Claudia Schiffer or Tina Turner.”

Moreover, the same source stated that Trump and Kalinina would have met later in Las Vegas, at the MGM hotel, and that evening would have continued at an official reception, to which the young woman would have been Trump's partner.

However, Masa Kalinina repeatedly rejected the existence of a romantic relationship: “I liked it, but when she told me to leave my lover, I replied: Then you break away from your wife. I laughed and I stayed friends,” she said in an interview quoted by the press.

After 1990, Kalinina settled in California, married an immigrant from Ukraine and teaches yoga. The information about the supposed connection with Trump has never been confirmed by official sources, and its name does not appear explicitly in the senatorial report. However, the reconstructions and speculations of the international press return periodically, especially in the context of the tensions between the US and the media.

Recently, Donald Trump has announced that his team of lawyers has filed a lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, which he accuses of defamation in an investigation that connects by Jeffrey Epstein, businessman convicted of human trafficking and abuse.
