The report was presented at a meeting of the Committee on Sports, Youth Policy, Tourism and the development of the public environment of the regional parliament.
The auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the region Tatyana Alyoshina recalled that the Academy is one of the five regional centers for the training of sports teams. It unites athletes involved in summer and winter sports.
The auditors noted that in the documents that regulate the organization’s activities, shortcomings were found. Thus, the procurement provision does not contain a definition of expediency and assessment of the validity of the procurement method. During the reporting period, skis and cartridges were most often purchased at the Academy. At the same time, according to the auditors, the goods purchased in 2023 and 2024 did not fully close the needs of the organization.
The Academy as a coordinator of sports training is the main subject whose efforts directly affect the development indicators in the region of biathlon and bullet shooting.
“In 2024, separate positive trends were outlined. In general, the situation in comparison with the level of 2019 is stabilized at a faster pace in the region, ”Tatyana Alyoshina, the auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the region, emphasized.
Following the results of the event, proposals were prepared by the government of the region, the Ministry and the Biathlon Academy.
After the report, deputies Alexei Kulesh, Vitaly Drozdov, Irina Ivanova, Evgeny Petrenko drew attention to the provision of athletes with biathlon cartridges. The Ministry of Sports explained the region that the fact is that the established standards are high, the team uses less “consumables”. Moreover, this situation is also formed in other regions. Officials assured, the situation under control, training is properly.
The chairman of the relevant committee, Alexander Novikov, invited his colleagues to accept the report.
“Bulletfire is a basic sport, one of the disciplines of sports firing. We need to work to ensure that we have tyirs in municipalities, I note, this is also military-applied in nature, ”said Alexander Novikov.
