The court sentenced the 65-year-old resident of Norilsk, who helped the tax inspector receive a large bribe from businessmen. This was reported by regional investigators and the prosecutor's office.
It is known that from December 2021 to May 2024, eight owners of grocery stores in Norilsk turned to natives of a foreign state with a request to help “resolve the issue” in the tax.
One of the intermediaries turned to his acquaintance replacing the position of deputy head of the department of cameral inspections of the inter -district inspection of the Federal Tax Service. The woman entered the system allegedly about the change in the tax rate of entrepreneurs, which reduced payments.

For this, she asked for 50 to 150 thousand rubles from each – about 1.3 million rubles in total. For help, the man also received a reward from entrepreneurs in the amount of 450 thousand rubles.
The court found him guilty of mediation in bribery (part 1 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to 5 years 6 months a colony of general regime.
“I can die any day, I am an old person – today is, no tomorrow. I found guilty in full, ”the defendant said in his defense.
Criminal cases against the former employee of the tax service on receiving a bribe are under consideration in court. The bribe taker was sentenced to 8 years in colony.
