Ecologists of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station took part in the first professional skill championship of RusHydro

In Moscow, on the basis of the MAI National Research University, the first corporate professional skill championship of the RusHydro Professional Excellence in the competence “Environmental Protection” was held.

The championship was attended by 39 ecologists from 19 regions of Russia. Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station was represented by an engineer for the protection of environmental protection of the 1st category of labor protection and industrial control services Antonina Kirillova and an ecologist of the 1st category of the Ecology Group of the production and technical service Zhanna Grandmother.

“This was my first experience in participating in the professional skill championship. Before the start, I was a little worried, I thought that the tasks would be very difficult, but it turned out that the experiences were in vain. All tasks were solved, but it is important to carefully read the conditions. It was very interesting to communicate with colleagues in an informal setting, to discuss urgent issues of environmental protection, ”said Antonina Kirillova.

For three days, the participants completed the tasks of the seven championship modules. Ecologists checked the documentation in the field of environmental protection, revealed the sources of emissions into the atmosphere that were not covered by inventory, calculated the hazard class of waste and solved other professional problems. According to the results of all tasks, Antonina Kirillova scored 536 points and took 4th place in the rating of ecologists, and Zhanna Grandmother received 495 points and reached 19th place.

Within the framework of the championship, environmentalists, representing enterprises with different types of generations, shared the accumulated experience, exchanged views on the most relevant topics for them. Professional environmental defenders discussed qualification requirements, the work of the methodological council of ecologists and other issues. A meeting was held with the head of the Department of Department for Human Resources and Organizational Development, RusHydro Olga Gavrilova. She told her colleagues about the environmental projects of the community of young workers of the company and called for supporting “green” youth projects.

The ARPM Championship is a regular event of the RusHydro group, it is carried out to improve the level of vocational training of branches and controlled organizations, and disseminate advanced methods of work. Ecologists analyze the current environmental situation, assess the need to take measures to protect the environment. Specialists in the field of environmental protection have knowledge in the field of monitoring and monitoring of environmental quality indicators, if necessary, should make decisions to improve the sanitary and hygienic situation.
