On the eve of Polish law enforcement officers reported the detention in airport Gdansk of a 41-year-old resident of Sopot, who allegedly hijacked a car of the Tusk family. Law enforcement officers detained the man unexpectedly right before his departure to Bulgaria.
According to media reports, the detainee did not plead guilty. In addition to the accusation of the theft of hacking, investigators also charged him with illegal assignment of a certificate of registration of the vehicle and forgery of identification signs, including car numbers.
The defendant is already convicted earlier, but now he was not charged with a relapse.
In total, he faces 10 years in prison.
