After Ion Țiriac had awarded David Popovici, together with the other Romania's Olympic medals in Paris 2024, now is the turn of another Romanian billionaire to support our champion to “attack” the Los Angeles Olympics, from 2028, writes the website StartupCafe.ro.
This is about Daniel Dines, the founder and CEO of the Romanian-American company of artificial intelligence (AI) UIPATH, the first “unicorn” founded in Romania and the first company created in our country that has come to list on the New York Stock Exchange.
Uipath announced on Thursday, in a statement sent StartupCafe.ro, that he “calls it on the Olympic champion David Popovici as global ambassador.”
In this capacity, Popovici will participate, including as a speaker, in several UIPATH events globally.

The partnership, which will extend over a period of four years, “will support the young sportsman throughout his training for the largest European and world swimming competitions, culminating in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles,” Uipath said.
“What makes David a champion not only the pure talent but his ability to reunite all the elements that lead to excellence: discipline, mentality, training, recovery and the ability to take everything from the end. This type of integration is the one that makes the true performance possible. I see a similar principle in the way we think about the future of technology: Intelligence-and it results in a bit greater than the sum of its parts. Perseverance and objectives, ”said Daniel Dines, co-founder and CEO of Uipath.
