A maximum of 15 minutes will be admitted to the patient at the Hospital Emergency Department from the Medical Rescue Team – assumes a draft regulation of the Minister of Health transferred on Friday for consultation.

In the draft regulation on the maximum time to receive the patient from the emergency medical team in hospitals, the Ministry of Health referred to ongoing analysis, which shows that in over 70 percent. cases proposed 15 minutes time is preserved.
“This time, together with the time of traveling of the emergency medical team to the scene of the incident, sometimes stay at the scene of the incident and sometimes transporting the patient to the hospital, should not be longer than 60 minutes – i.e. it should meet the standard of the so -called golden hour, which cannot be exceeded in the case of people in a state of sudden health threat” – the Ministry of Health pointed out.
The Ministry of Health suggested that the provision of 15 minutes to admit the patient to the Hospital Emergency Department should be in the Act on the State Emergency Medical Service.
The Sejm in March, during the third reading of the government draft amendment to the Act on the State Emergency Medical Service, supported the amendment of the Left Club, according to which the provision on the requirement of 15 minutes is to be sent to the regulation. MP Joanna Wicha (left) argued that this provision should not be entered in the Act, because in the coming years it may turn out that the standard has improved and the time to accept the patient will have to be determined, e.g. for a maximum of 10 minutes.
Entering the principle by 15 minutes to receive the patient to SOR for the amendment, then the Senate wanted. However, the Sejm rejected the Senate amendment in this matter. (PAP)
