The ambassador emphasized that last year alone, the value of Polish investments in Egypt increased by 30%.., which, in his opinion, confirms that the cooperation between the two countries has very solid foundations. The largest part of the capital, approximately 70 percent went to the service sector, while approximately 9 percent each for tourism, production and construction.
Egypt as a gateway to world markets
PAIH President Andrzej Dycha pointed out that Egypt is a key partner for Poland in North Africa. It is not only a market with 110 million inhabitants, but also a strategic trade hub thanks to the Suez Canal, which connects Europe with Asia. PAIH declares support for Polish companies in finding partners and entering the Egyptian market.

The Polish ambassador to Egypt, Michał Murkociński, reminded that next year will bring the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries and the 80th anniversary of archaeological cooperation. He also emphasized that 2025 was a breakthrough: trade turnover exceeded one billion dollars for the first time, and the number of Polish tourists in Egypt reached one million. What's more, the first Polish investment in the Egyptian food processing sector appeared.
What does Poland sell to Egypt and what does it buy?
To the most important Polish goods exported to Egypt include household appliances, apples, railway wagons, buses, industrial materials and pharmaceuticals.
On the other hand Egypt supplies Poland mainly with clothing, agricultural products, plastic products, electrical cables, salt and aluminum products. These numbers show that trade cooperation is becoming more diversified and has great potential for further growth.
