A great investment in ammunition in Poland. It will cost billions


As reported, A concept will be implemented to organize three factories. The current production capacity will be expanded, but a new infrastructure, including technological lines, will also be created.
– The first funds for the construction of large -caliber ammunition factories will be distributed later this month. We assume the achievement of production capacity at the end of 2027. – said the Minister of State Asset Jakub Jaworowski.
The government made the decision to allocate money for this purpose in November last year. Only now, however, the matter is formalizing. Co -financing is to come from the capital investment fund. The so -called Ammunition companies of the PGZ Group: Dezamet, Mesko, ZPS Gamrat, Nitroch and Belma.

PGZ is one of the largest defense concerns in Europe – a capital group gathering dozens of industrial plants, service facilities and key research centers for the Polish defense industry. In March, the then head of the group Krzysztof Trofiniak reported that the Company Dezamet, which is part of PGZ, is applying for funds from the capital investment fund, including for the purchase of land for the construction of warehouses and equipment to increase the production capacity of ammunition.
