The new minimum gross wage in force from September 1 to December 31, 2025 will be:
- PLN 699.89 – for students of the first year or grade and 1st degree industry school (8 % of the average salary),
- PLN 787.38 – for second -year or class II students (9 percent),
- PLN 874.86 – for 3rd year or class III students (10 %).
Meanwhile, the existing rates amounted to PLN 716.98, PLN 806.61 and PLN 896.23, respectively.

Employees under special supervision
The changes that will come into force in September include young employees employed on the basis of an employment contract for professional preparation. These persons have additional restrictions: They cannot work at night, overtime, and their working time is strictly limited. Before the age of 16, they can work a maximum of 6 hours a day, while above this age – up to 8 hours a day. It is also forbidden to perform duties on dangerous work or exceeding the psychophysical possibilities of a young person.
