Donald Trump attacks the comedian. Suggests that being against him is 'illegal'

“He is probably the least talented live performer in the history of television. In fact, he may be the worst performing live or anywhere else,” writes the US president about the “Late Night with Seth Meyers” host. In yesterday's entry, Trump also accuses the comedian of low viewership of his programs and points out his anti-presidential attitude. “100% anti-Trump which is probably illegal!!!” — he fumes indignantly later in his tirade on social media.
The statement by the President of the United States is a reaction to a program in which Seth Meyers ridiculed President Donald Trump's recent speech on steam and electric launchers.

In his program, Meyers referred to Trump's speech, which he delivered last week aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington in Japan. During his speech, the US president asked the gathered soldiers which type of catapult on aircraft carriers they considered better – steam or electric. In response, some of the audience expressed support for traditional steam catapults. Trump criticized electric systems at the time, saying they were expensive and difficult to repair, while steam systems could be easily repaired with a hammer and a blowtorch. “I love the sight of this beautiful steam rising from the deck – you can't do that with the current,” the US president added.
Meyers, commenting on this situation in his program, joked that Trump pays more attention to catapults than the character from the famous cartoons with the Road Runner – William E. Coyote. He also satirically recreated the speech of the President of the United States.
Trump has criticized Meyers before
This isn't the first time Donald Trump has publicly criticized Seth Meyers. “He has no viewership, no talent, no intelligence,” wrote the US president in August. “So why did Fake News NBC renew this idiot's contract? I don't know, but I'll definitely find out!!!” – he added in a post on Truth Social.
The average viewership of Meyers' programs over the last six months was approximately 900,000. viewers, and his YouTube channel is followed by over 5 million people.
