

Legislators note the need to return Ukrainian children and call on the Russian Federation to resume negotiations on the establishment of peace in Ukraine.

On April 27, 2023, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution in which the deportation of Ukrainian children was called genocide.
On June 2, 2025, Ukraine handed over to Russia in negotiations in Istanbul a list of Ukrainian children whom the Russian Federation should be returned, said the head of the presidential office Andrei Ermak.
