In Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers opened a criminal case of pollution of the atmosphere.
In February, employees of the economic security department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Kansky”, together with the Ministry of Ecology and the Mobile Laboratory, held operational events aimed at identifying enterprises polluting the atmosphere in the Kansky municipal district.
“When analyzing atmospheric air samples in the Kansk industrial region, one of the woodworking enterprises was recorded as a single maximum maximum permissible concentration of nitrogen dioxide by 1.1 times,” the press service of the regional police said.
A criminal case of air pollution was opened in Kansk
Based on the results, a criminal case was opened under part 1 of Art. 251 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Atmospheric pollution.”
We will remind, earlier the Ministry of Ecology revealed the pollution of three rivers in the Ermakovsky and Karatuz municipal districts as a result of gold mining.
