The project of the Center for Arms from the Grigore Alexandrescu Emergency Hospital has a one -year delay, said June 28, the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete.
The statements were made by the Minister of Health immediately after the visit made on the site of the Center for Argents of the Emergency Hospital for Children Alexandrescu.
“I could say that, unfortunately, this project has a one-year delay, especially because of the bureaucratic blockages I encountered aHere, ”Rogobete said.
“We will accelerate the works”
The Minister of Health announces that the workshop on the site will extend until the evening, late, for the recovery of the gaps:
“The access to the site of the yard is quite difficult being in the middle of Bucharest, but in the discussion we had with the entrepreneurs, but also with the hospital manager, we asked and we have the guarantee that we will accelerate the works, in the sense that in the next period the work program will be extended until the evening, at 23.00.

The same will happen on all new hospital sites where there are delays, “Just to recover this“, Said the minister.
“Of course the situation is now in dynamic. In 2022, when I came to the ministry as Secretary of State, I found projects for three completely blocked burns. During the period 2022-2023, we managed to unlock them, in the sense that the auctions were completed and the construction works were signed. Now, the one from Timisoara has completed as a structure, completed the heliport and works inside. We estimate that, at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year, it will be used. The one from Târgu Mureș is the next in terms of the degree of execution. I think they reached the third floor and the one you have now seen where I went beyond the ground floor ”, explained Alexandru Rogobete.
“We will keep in PNRR the hospitals that can be done”
The minister also stated that 14 new hospitals are under construction:
“We have 14 sites for new hospitals. We have signed at the Ministry of Health 24, but the European Commission indicator was 19. We have practically overwhelmed to comply. We rely on the resolution of the European Parliament to extend the PNR. Sure we are waiting for the European Commission to decide this”.
We recall that, in the summer of 2023, the then Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, signed the contract for the construction of the Big Arşi Center within the Emergency Clinical Hospital “Grigore Alexandrescu”.
In 2024, the Plastic Surgery Clinic, Reconstructive Microsurgery and Burns in the “Grigore Alexandrescu” Hospital set up the Unique National Register of Burning Patients, which will centralize burns in children and adults, including treatment places and their causes.
