The Siberian Federal University recently adopted the official delegation of the Republic of Guinea-Bisau. The guests met with the leadership of the university and students from among the citizens of the republic who are currently educated at the Siberian Federal District. According to the press service of the university, the visit was organized by OK RUSAL.
In the framework of cooperation with the Republic of Gvinea-Bisau, the company Rusal provides financial and organizational support in the training of 31 students of the republic in the technological and humanitarian specialties of the Siberian Federal University. Students receive the scholarships of the company, and after graduation, they will return to the republic for its socio-economic development.
“This is not the first group of foreign students who are trained in the interests of Rusal. These are always very motivated guys, they feel responsible to the country and the company, and this affects the results, ”said I.O. rector Maxim Rumyantsev.
According to him, Close cooperation with industrial partners allows students to receive not only theoretical knowledge, but also the necessary practical skills:

In total, at the Siberian Federal University, by agreement with Rusal, 80 students from Mongolia, Jamaica, Guinea and Guinea-Bisau are studying.
