In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a road worker was sent to a colony for fraud during bridge repairs

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the general director of JSC DRSU-10 received 3.5 years in prison for fraud, the prosecutor’s office reported.

In 2017, in the village of Zherlyk, Minusinsk region, it was necessary to repair the bridge by dismantling the old one. The contractor was DRSU-10 JSC, and dismantling work was entrusted to DSK YUG LLC. We concluded 4 contracts with this company for 90 thousand rubles each.

The prosecutor's office noted that the company had neither equipment nor workers; it was created specifically as a fictitious subcontractor. Later it turned out that the head of the company was the general director of JSC DRSU-10, who was also listed as a specialist at GPKK DRSU-10. It was the latter company that actually carried out the dismantling of the bridge. And the money in the amount of 311 thousand rubles was transferred to DSK YUG.

“In court, he denied guilt: “The work was carried out by my organization.” But the witnesses—subordinates—reported pressure to give false testimony,” — told the prosecutor's office.

The court found the businessman guilty of fraud using his official position on a large scale (Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Sentence: 3.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
