Romanian international Vlad Dragomir (26) continues his excellent form in Cyprus. The Romanian midfielder was once again decisive for Pafos, scoring the second consecutive goal in the championship.

Dragomir started the match in the 7th stage of the Cypriot Championship on the bench, but he made an impact immediately after making his appearance on the pitch.

Pafos opened the scoring through the former defender of PSG and Chelsea, David Luiz, in the 17th minute. In the second half, the Portuguese Domingos Quina increased the difference, after he had achieved a “double” in the previous stage as well.

Dragomir also scored in the previous victory, score 4-2 against AEK Larnaca.

Summoned by Mircea Lucescu to the national team

The selector Mircea Lucescu (80 years old) summoned Vlad Dragomir for the last action of the national team, as a result of the very good developments in Cyprus.

In the friendly with Moldova, the Romanian midfielder played 89 minutes, and in the match with Austria he was integral, contributing decisively to the victory of the “tricolors”.

From Poli Timișoara, at the debut in the Champions League group

Vlad Dragomir was champion with Pafos last season, contributing to the historic qualification of the team in the single group of the Champions League. In a first for the club, Pafos debuted in the competition, but lost 1-5 to the German champions, Bayern Munich.

Trained at Banatul and Poli Timișoara, Dragomir was transferred to Arsenal London when he was only 16 years old, where he played for the U18 and U23 teams.

He made his debut for the Romanian national team in March, in the 5-1 victory against the state of San Marino, when he entered the field in the 61st minute, in place of Nicolae Stanciu.
