Unirea Slobozia announced that she had obtained the services of Water Hamiu (27 years old), a footballer born in Switzerland, but who played three times for the U21 national in Kosovo.
Saved in extremis from relegation, the Ialomita team tries to develop a team that will not go through the same emotions.

“Welcome, Valon Hamiu! The defensive midfielder, 27, joins our team after the separation of Bellinzone, Liga 2 formation in Switzerland. Our club welcomes him and much success!”, The Unirea Slobozia club statement shows.
Throughout his career, Hamiu played only in Switzerland. Passed to St. Gallen (junior), FC Wil 1900, FC Winterthur, FC Schaffhausen, Lausanne and AC Bellinzone.
