Tisza with 51 percent It is clearly ahead of Fidesz Orbana

The opposition formation enjoys special recognition among younger voters. The survey indicated that as much as 58 percent people under the age of 40 declare support for Tisza. Meanwhile, Fidesz still finds a solid support in an older electorate, in particular among people over 50. These results show a clear demographic division, which will probably decide on the system of forces during the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Research also shows that most respondents expect the victory of Tisza in the upcoming vote. As “HVG” noted, this is an unprecedented trend in the context of the last two decades of Hungarian politics, where Orban Fidesz almost always led in the polls just before the election.
