UTA Arad started looking for a new coach, after Mircea Rednic (63 years old) announced his departure. The local press claims that “old lady” has 4 names on the list, and Alexandru Meszar, the leader of the Aradians, spoke about the appointment of the new technician.
After the last match in the play-out, 0-0 with Gloria Buzau, Mircea Rednic said he was leaving and verbally attacked the supporters. Adrian Mihalcea, the coach of Unirea Slobozia, is the main favorite to take over the team from Arad.
Alexandru Meszar about the rumors related to the name on the list of UTA Arad: “We are in discussions with several coaches”
According to Special Arad, Florin Maxim, Ionuț Badea and Ilie Stan are the other names on the list of Alexandru Meszar.
“Players and staff are on vacation now. We are in discussions with several coaches, for the moment there is no one confirmed.
There were discussions with each coach with whom we discussed, and until the contract and commitment are displayed, we will not make it public ”, said Alexandru Meszar, according to iamsport.ro.
Asked about bringing Adrian Mihalcea to UTA, Alexandru Meszar completed:
“I do not deny, but I do not confirm, there are more, it is not just one coach, there are discussions with more. We have lost a little time and we will see the best version.
Given that not all the championships have not been completed, even in Romania they are playing, so we will stay a little. Certainly, before the preparation begins, we will announce, ”the leader said, according to the quoted source.
UTA Arad finished the play-out of the Superligii in the 4th place: 31 points, 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats recorded “Bătrana Lady” in the play-out of the first step.

We went to Constanta to the ultra boys and they didn't shout anything, even if we had won. The banners were ready, all things, I thought they were different. However, I think there are real supporters.
