In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 10,187 people have suffered from the beginning of the season of tick bites. This was told in the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
According to experts, over the past six days, 1,642 people turned to the doctors with complaints about sucking ticks, 277 children.
“The number of arthropods on control routes is still high – up to 134 ticks per 1 flag/km,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
Epidemiologists ask residents to observe personal prevention measures and, after walking, carefully inspect themselves, their companions and pets. And to protect against tick -borne infections, the most effective measure is vaccination.
