The President of the State Duma (the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament), Viaceslav Volodin, sent to his German counterpart, the president of the Bundestag, Julia Klockner, a letter stating that a possible delivery of German missiles to the Ukrainian army would, from the point of view of Russia, a direct involvement of Germany in the conflict.

“Today, the German government seriously examines the transfer of sophisticated cruise missiles to Kiev, although it is aware that the Kiev regime does not have the competences needed to use them”, so they can only be operated by German specialists, says Volodin in the letter published on the website, according to the agency.

“Does the Berlin government have any mandate from the German people for this?”

“In fact, this will be done by the specialists of the Bundeswehr. In other words, German missiles will attack Russia and this will be done by German officers,” he stressed. According to Volodin, the government of Chancellor Friedrich Merz thus pushes the German people into a “other armed conflict with Russia.” Does the Berlin government have any “mandate from the German people for this?”, Asks the president of the Dum.

He still recalls that, in the decades that followed the Second World War, Russia and Germany “did many not only to heal the wounds of the war, but also to build friendship and mutually advantageous between the peoples” of the two countries.

Ukraine has so far received from its Western allies rockets with an action range of about 300 kilometers, respectively American rockets with land and French launch with French and French launch Storm Shadow and Scalp. But the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has long insanes Berlin to transfer to the Ukrainian army Taurus, who have a higher range of over 500 kilometers, with which he could also hit the Crimea Bridge.

Former German Chancellor, Social Democrat Olaf Scholz, has rejected this request, arguing that he does not want an involvement of German military in the Ukraine conflict, given that the Taurus missile programming operation may require the participation of German military prepared to operate these rockets, as well as the French military Shadow/scalp.

The new German-right-hander Chancellor Friedrich Merz was declared, before taking over the function, favorable to the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. But, once the government leads, he refrained from making such a decision. Instead, the German Chancellor promised President Zelenski that he would help Ukraine to produce long -range armament with which he can hit the depth of the Russian Arygard.

On the other hand, the delivery to Ukraine of some Taurus missiles also involves technical difficulties, as the Ukrainian air forces do not have the platform to launch them, so they would need to integrate them on the fighter planes available to Ukraine. However, according to discussions between German military manager, intercepted and published by Russia, the changes made by the British military on the Suhoi Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian army to launch Storm Shadow/Scalp Rockets would also allow the use of Taurus missiles.
