President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday that France will send three fighter jets to “help protect the Poland airspace,” after Warsaw accused Russia of launching a drone attack on its territory, according to AFP.
“Following the incursions with Russian drones in Poland, I decided to send three bursts to contribute to protecting the Polish air space and the eastern flank of Europe, along with our NATO allies.
Donald Tusk: Poland has received anti -aircraft support offers from European allies
Poland has received support offers for its anti -aircraft defense from European allies, said Prime Minister Donald Tusk after discussions with a day ago with leaders of France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Lower countries, Ukraine and NATO, according to Reuters and The Guardian.
“In today's conversations … I received not only solidarity expressions with Poland, but especially concrete support for the anti -aircraft defense,” Tusk wrote on X, after Poland broke down Russian suspicious drones entered in his air space.
