France, accused of delivering “regular and continuous” weapons to Israel. What do Paris authorities say
A report shows that France has constantly delivered military equipment to Israel in October 2023, demanding official explanations from Paris. The French Ministry of Defense categorically rejects the accusations.

The Progressive International (PI) militant network presented in Paris on Tuesday a report of France of delivering “regular and continuous“Military material of Israel from October 2023. The report was launched in an event organized by deputies of the French radical left (La France Insumise – LFI), along with several militant organizations, informs Agerpres.

The report cites data provided by the Israeli tax authority and claims that France has provided components necessary for the manufacture of “Bombs, grenades, torpedoes, mines and rockets ”but also “Rocket launchers” and “Military rifles”.
Requests for explanations and suspicions of complicity
“We ask for answers regarding the global magnitude of these deliveries and the full dimension of the French commercial and military commitment with Israel ”is shown in the PI report.
However, the authors of the report admit that it is impossible to verify whether these components are used by the Israeli army or if they are actually carried out in the Gaza strip.
The reaction of the French authorities
The French Minister of Defense, Sébastien Lecornu, reaffirmed Friday that France does not sell weapons to Israel, with two exceptions: components for Israeli defense systems, as “Iron dome”which protects the country from air attacks, and elements “re”.
In 2023, France received armament orders worth 19.9 million euros from Israel, a figure close to that of previous years (25.6 million in 2022 and 19.4 million in 2021), according to the annual report on French weapons exports.
Massive exports with double use
A second report indicates a spectacular growth in exports of double use goods (with both civil and military purposes) from France to Israel in 2023: 192 million euros, compared to 34 million in 2022. Most of these exports was represented by electronic equipment.
Deputy LFI Bastien Lachaud, a member of the Defense Commission in the French Parliament, criticized the lack of transparency of the Government: “Are our components used (by the Israeli army) or are they sent to other countries? We cannot accept that there are doubts“He told AFP.

Tensioned international context
The accusations of war and genocide crimes against Israel have multiplied in recent months, being formulated by UN experts, human rights and governments in several countries. Israel has firmly rejected these accusations.
