Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren this year began to actively prepare for the exam

Active preparations for the exam and OGE among schoolchildren in 2025 moved to March. At the same time, more and more students are prepared online – the number of users of services and applications for preparing for mandatory exams from January to the first two weeks of May increased by 39 % relative to last year, Yota analysts found out based on the depersonalized data of subscribers.

Analysts have investigated the largest sites and applications that help schoolchildren prepare for the exam and the OGE. We are talking about services with demo versions of tasks, trial options for various subjects and specialized online schools to prepare for compulsory exams.

The audience of such services and sites has been growing: since the beginning of 2025, 39 % of users came to them more than last year. And during the same time they spent 63 % more traffic.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, among those preparing for exams online, there were more girls – they amounted to 62 % of the audience of such sites. At the same time, their number from last year at the site on online training to the exam has grown by 20 %, young men in such classes have become more by 25 %.

As the analysis of activity on the sites to prepare for exams from 2023 to 2025 showed, in the summer, schoolchildren practically do not remember the exams-in July and August there is a sharp decrease in the number of users of educational sites. The peak of active training falls on September, when students return from the holidays, but the indicator decline in the autumn and winter months. In 2024, schoolchildren began to devote time to preparations for exams in February, and in 2025, the start of activity moved to March. At the same time, the beginning of the preparation season does not depend on the gender: both girls and boys are thinking about studying at the same time.

Megafon analysts noted that schoolchildren in Siberia since the beginning of this year for online training for exams have increased traffic by 13 %. The most active were Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. In third place, the girl and young men of the Altai Territory. The five leaders of the Kemerovo and Irkutsk regions are closed. The surge was recorded in April, during the period of trial exams. The peak of classes in almost all regions was observed in May. Especially in the last month of spring, students of Novosibirsk succeeded in preparing for the final certification.
