More than 135 thousand hatching eggs from Uzbekistan were imported into the Krasnoyarsk Territory

135,720 hatching eggs of chickens from Uzbekistan were imported into the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The batch arrived at one of the poultry farms in the region for further poultry raising. Before importation, eggs were tested for salmonellosis, Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis. Wet disinfection was also carried out. Rosselkhoznadzor specialists carried out documentary and physical control. No violations of the requirements of the legislation of Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union were revealed.
In total, since the beginning of 2026, 8 batches of chicken hatching eggs have been imported to the Krasnoyarsk Territory from Uzbekistan. The total volume of deliveries exceeded 1 million pieces.
Let us remind you that in March the iMonitoring website reported that prices for chicken eggs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory have increased by 14% since the beginning of the year. The main reason for the growth is the increase in production costs. Feed prices have increased (soybean, sunflower and rapeseed meal), as well as electricity, fuels and lubricants, packaging and vaccines. Weekly price fluctuations make it difficult for stores to forecast prices and for consumers to budget.
