Another large family from the Krasnoyarsk Territory was awarded by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the decent upbringing of their children. The governor of the region, Mikhail Kotyukov, announced this on his social networks.
Medals of the Order of Parental Glory were awarded to Mikhail and Yulia Skaskevich from Bolshaya Murta. The couple has 5 daughters. The youngest, Ksenia, is still attending kindergarten, and the eldest, Daria, is studying at the Institute of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology of Siberian Federal University. In her free time, she enjoys sports and creativity, and also participates in the “Medical Volunteers” volunteer movement. The middle daughters go to school: Marina is also involved in cross-country skiing, and Olga and Yesenia are fond of drawing.
“The head of the family, Mikhail, works at the Krasnoyarsk aluminum smelter, and Yulia works as an ultrasound diagnostics doctor. During the pandemic, she saved Covid patients in the “red zone”. Julia chose medicine following the example of her parents: her father was a pediatric surgeon and her mother was a therapist. Mikhail and Yulia spend a lot of time with their daughters,” the governor noted.
The Skaskevich family also regularly participates in various events. This year, for the second time, they became contestants at the regional stage of “Family of the Year.”
Let us remind you that the medal of the Order of Parental Glory, like the Order of Parental Glory, is one of the highest level awards. It is awarded to parents (adoptive parents) who are raising or have raised four or more children. At the time of presentation of the medal of the order, the youngest child in a large family must be at least three years old. Since 2022 awardede get 200 thousand rubles.
The award is presented to a large family at the request of local authorities at the family’s place of residence.
