The North Irish fashion designer was tipped to take the highest position in the LVMH DIOR company since its announcement in March 2025 from a smaller Loewe brand. For over a decade, Jonathan Anderson was a creative director there. Less than a month later, the General Director of LVMH Bernard Arnault revealed during the shareholders meeting that Anderson would design the male Dior collection, which will be shown in June.

“I have always been inspired by the rich history of this chamber, its depth and empathy. I am looking forward to cooperation with the legendary Atelier to create another chapter of this amazing story” – wrote on Monday in the post on Instagram North Irish designer.
Anderson's transition to Dior is part of serious reshuffles in positions in global fashion brands after resignations and forced departures.
Anderson is to deal with the collection of women's clothing after artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri announced her departure after almost a decade of work last week. In January, the British designer Kim Jones gave way as the artistic director of the DIOR men's clothing department.
New era in Dior fashion houses
The first collection of Jonathan Anderson – Dior Men Summer 2026 – will debut during the Paris Fashion Week on June 27.
Bernard Arnault, president of the luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessa (LVHM) and the home company Dior, He described Anderson as “one of the greatest creative talents of his generation”. “His incomparable artistic signature will be a key advantage in writing the next chapter of the history of the Dior house,” said Arnault, whose words resemble BBC.

President Dior – Delphine Arnault – said she was “delighted” that Anderson's creativity would be lively at the fashion house.
Anderson is known for his innovative styles and asexual projectsand in his career he created several iconic and recognizable styles. In 2023, he created Rihanna's outfit at the Super Bowl, in which she announced her pregnancyas well as Ariana Grande's dress on Met Gala in 2024. Anderson was educated at London College of Fashion, and then began his career in the Prada marketing department.
In 2008, he introduced his brand JW Anderson, and in 2013 he was appointed creative director Loewe, a Spanish leather brand brand founded in 1846.
