Shelters of Krasnoyarsk contain 1249 dogs with unmotivated aggressionThe Department of the City Hall reports.
Only this year, experts with caught and sterilized 644 dogs, on the habitat, they returned 149. Dogs with officially diagnosed aggression cannot be released. They contain them at a budget account – about 150 rubles per day are allocated for one individual.
After capture, a weekly control is established behind all stray dogs. Their behavior is qualified as neutral, wary or threatening.
For the latter, additional tests are carried out. Check the reaction to sharp sounds or food proposed by a stranger. Depending on the test results, a decision on the diagnosis is made. Not only veterinarians or dog handlers participate in this, but also a commission from the head of the shelter and representative of the municipality.
