Ukrainian culinary specialist of Colombian origin Hector Jimenez-Bravo explained on Instagram how to make chocolate-glazed cheese curds yourself.
“Tell me honestly: did you also adore them as a child? Today we make those same homemade cheesecakes with the favorite filling of many,” noted Jimenez-Bravo.
Ingredients:
- 300 g cottage cheese (5% fat);
- 30 g melted butter;
- 30 g powdered sugar;
- half a teaspoon of vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar);
- 70 g boiled condensed milk;
- 200 g milk chocolate;
- 40 ml vegetable oil.
Preparation
- Add butter, powder and vanilla extract to the cottage cheese. Blend with a blender until smooth texture.
- Transfer the mass into a slider bag and cut off a corner. Place boiled condensed milk in another slider bag and cut off the corner.
- We cover the table with film, plant the curd base, and condensed milk inside. Close the sides, wrap it in film like candy, and roll it across the table.
- Place the dessert in the freezer until completely frozen, approximately four hours.
- Melt the chocolate, add vegetable oil, stir.
- Cover the board with parchment. Remove the film, place the cheeses on toothpicks and dip into chocolate.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
