In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 507 people fell ill with Lambiosis in the first four months of the year. Of these, 344 patients are children, reports regional Rospotrebnadzor.

Experts note that a surge of incidence is not observed – the value is at the level of last year.

“Most often, such a diagnosis was recorded in Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Bogotola, Borodino, Divnogorsk, Yeniseisk, Nazarovo, Sharypovo, as well as in the Bogotolsky, Uzhursky, Turukhansky districts and the Evenki municipal district,” the press service said.

Add, lambliosis is a parasitic disease caused by lamblia. It is transmitted through dirty foods and hands, water, food, household items. As a rule, at the risk group of infection are members of the same family, children's groups.
