In Krasnoyarsk, the head of a construction company was accused of fraud and illegal cash withdrawal of more than 74 million rubles

In Krasnoyarsk, the general director of PromStroyInvest LLC was charged in absentia with committing large-scale fraud and unlawfulexchange of means of payment. On the initiation of relevant criminal cases on Part 3 Art. 159 and part 1 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was reported by the regional Investigative Committee.

In the first case, claims against the defendant arose due to a government contract concluded in May 2021 for the construction of a complex of buildings for a cultural and educational center in the village of Kazachinskoye. According to the investigation, the contractor’s representative provided the customer, the regional enterprise Capital Construction Administration, with deliberately unreliable certificates of fulfillment of obligations, while in fact the work was not completed in full. Based on the reporting documents, money was transferred to the company.

“In addition, during the period from January 2020 to August 2021, the director of PromStroyInvest LLC prepared fake payment orders to transfer funds to an affiliated company, indicating untrue reasons for the transfer. As a result, more than 74.6 million rubles were withdrawn from legal circulation,” the Investigative Committee said.

Investigators did not name the person involved. However, the media, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, claim that we are talking about Armen Sukiasyan. The businessman was charged in absentia. Where he is is not reported.
