Wizz Air reacts after a serious incident aboard a Bucharest – Norway flight. The airline condemns abusive behaviors and says it has zero tolerance to violence.

A Wizz Air flight from Bucharest Otopeni to Oslo, scheduled for Friday, May 30, was delayed by more than two hours after several passengers became violent just before take -off.
According to the airline, the passengers involved had a “Unbrepreated behavior ” And they became “Aggressive towards the crew members during the embarching procedures”.

Wizz Air said that the crew managed the situation according to the standard procedures, and the authorities were called on the spot.

Wizz Air representatives also stated that the aircraft later took off from Bucharest and reached Oslo safely, despite the delay.

The incident was caught on the cameras of mobile phones by other passengers. In a video clip distributed by the online press, we hear shouts and threats. A witness exclaims: “They want to beat the pilot! There is no such thing, incredible! ”.
According to the press, the scandal started immediately after boarding, when several passengers were beaten, and one of them began to swear and threaten the crew.
The police from Transport intervened, and the 9 people involved were escorted outside the aircraft and led to hearings.
Flight was resumed after police intervention
The Wizz Air W4 3215 flight eventually took off with a delay of about two and a half hours. So far, the Transport Police did not provide additional information about the ongoing investigation or possible sanctions.
