President Nicușor Dan called on Wednesday all the parliamentary parties for informal consultations to form the future executive. The list is also gold. However, the formation led by George Simion conditioned the participation.

Over 10 hours of consultations are scheduled on Wednesday at the Cotroceni Palace. In the schedule transmitted by the parliamentary administration there are also the sovereign formations in the Parliament. Gold initially announced that he will not participate in consultations. Gold asked President Nicușor Dan to apologize for his claims during the campaign: “You have stated, without restraint, that in the event that you will become president, you will only collaborate with certain parliamentary parties, deliberately excluding formations that have received the confidence of millions of Romanian citizens. This position not only violates the spirit of the Constitution, which forces you to the impartiality and the representation of the whole people, Mediator, but an instrument of party interests ”the formation spokesman, Dan Tănasă said.
At the same time, the PSD is expected to make a decision on participation in the executive future. President Nicușor Dan said that he wants to form a government with all the pro-European parties to ensure the majority needed in the Parliament.
PNL, USR and UDMR do not have the required number of mandates without PSD, but the Social Democrats have given assurances that they will support the investment of a minority government.

09:00: The Social Democratic Party (PSD);
10:30 am: National Liberal Party (PNL);
12:00: Save Romania (USR) Union;
1:30 pm: Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR);
3:00 pm: the parliamentary group of national minorities;
4:00 pm: Alliance for the Union of Romanians (gold);
5:00 pm: SOS Romania Party;
6:00 pm: the party of young people (can);
7:00 pm: non -affiliated parliamentarians.
Asked if he could designate a prime minister from the PSD if the Social Democrats were conditioning the entry to obtaining the position of prime minister, Nicușor Dan emphasized the preliminary character of the meetings.
