On Thursday, the Ministry of National Security (DHS) announced that it took the right to receive foreign students from the Harvard University in connection with the refusal to transfer materials regarding students participating in anti -izrael protests. The decision also prohibits further education at the university already adopted to students.
“This administration attracts Harvard responsible for fueling violence, anti -Semitism and cooperation with the Communist Party of China in the campus,” the head of the Ministry of Kristi Noem wrote on Platform X.
As the Associated Press informed, The university intends to apply for a temporary judicial order to prevent DHS from implementing this move.
Foreign students are one of the largest sources of income for many leading American universities. Tuition fee at Harvard is about 60 thousand. dollars per semester. According to university data, 27 percent current students are foreigners.
