Japan is waiting for American military equipment. The audit reveals serious delays



Japanese auditors revealed that as many as 118 orders for American military equipment worth USD 7.2 billion had not been completed despite more than five years having passed since the contracts were signed. A detailed report has just been submitted to the Japanese parliament, and the case was publicized by the Nikkei Asia daily. The delays are causing concern in Tokyo and forcing the Japan Self-Defense Forces to use older equipment.
