Here is who the Poles would vote for if only economic programs decided [SONDAŻ]


What is the most important criterion for choosing the president? There is no one simple answer to this. For some voters, these will be ideological issues, family matters or even the appearance of candidates. The election program will be important for others, including Economic aspects. And it was the latter that we decided in Business Insider Polska through the Uce Research studio to ask Poles before the second round, which awaits us on June 1. In the study, we only took into account those who declare that they would go to the urns.

The respondents heard exactly this question: If you had to vote in the second round of elections for the President of the Republic of Poland, taking into account only the economic program of candidates, which you would indicate/indicated?
Here are the answers:
- Rafał Trzaskowski – 49 percent
- Karol Nawrocki – 40.3 percent
- I don't know/hard to say – 10.7 percent
As you can see, in this aspect, the president of Warsaw currently has a fairly clear advantage, but what is important – Both still have something to fight for, because with the result that promises to be razor blades, any undecided candidate can be at a premium.

Rafał Trzaskowski's economic program
Rafał Trzaskowski wants, among others Create a central industrial district that would be located in Podkarpacie. According to his program, it would be a project “supported by government and international investments, which will make Podkarpacie a real heart of the Polish economy and a security system”.
The plan includes road and rail investments, the development of the arms and energy industry plants, as well as the support of local companies and innovation centers. It also provides for the expansion of social infrastructure: modernization of schools, hospitals, the construction of modern shelters and creating attractive places to spend free time.
In addition, Trzaskowski announces support – in the amount of PLN 2 billion – for regions struggling with long -term economic and social problems.
Another proposal of the President of Warsaw is Limiting 800 plus benefits only for foreigners who work and live in Poland.
It also postulates an increase in defense expenditure to 5 percent. GDP and investing a minimum of 50 percent funds for the modernization of the armed forces in Polish industry.

Karol Nawrocki's economic program
Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by PiS, presenting his economic program, called him a “contract with Poles” and promised, among others tax reduction and family support. Among Nawrocki's postulates are: zero PIT for families with a minimum of two children, VAT reduction to 22 %, raising the second tax threshold to 140,000. PLN or liquidation of Belka tax
On the other hand, in the Business Insidera questionnaire, he admitted that he agreed with the catastral tax at least from the fourth apartment.
The tax ideas, which can be found in the program of Karol Nawrocki, will be primarily the elite – results from the calculations of the Cenea Economic Analysis Center. If the solutions proposed by the PiS candidate were actually implemented, then an additional 1,000 would remain in the richest pockets. PLN per month. In the poorest it would be only PLN 6 (six).
The head of the Institute of National Remembrance also proposes the development of atomic energy. However, until Polish nuclear power plants are built, he wants to focus on native coal.
