The Bankier.pl portal was honored with Silver Laurels in the Market Media category during the Invest Cuffs 2026 conference taking place in Krakow. The main prize in the Economic Journalist category went to Krzysztof Kolany – chief analyst of Bankier.pl. We would like to thank you – our Readers and Partners – for your votes and trust.
During the 10th anniversary edition of the Invest Cuffs conference in Krakow, Bankier.pl received Silver Laurels in the Market Media category. Our portal won main awards in this category in 2024, 2022 and 2020. In 2025, our portal received a special award on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, and also took second place in the Media Market category.
During this year's gala, the last “dessert” point was the awarding of the title of Economic Journalist of 2025. The statuette was presented by Barbara Burus Gorgoń, professor at the Wrocław University of Economics and president of the recently established Marka Polska Think Tank foundation.
The winner of the plebiscite and the best economic journalist of 2025 was Krzysztof Kolany – chief analyst of Bankier.pl. While receiving the award, the winner thanked all the voters, noting that this distinction confirmed his belief that his work still makes sense.
“Thank you very much for this award, for this dessert distinction and, above all, I would like to thank all of you who voted for me, because it shows that maybe what I do still makes sense. Thank you very much.”
For Krzysztof Kolany, this is the first distinction at the Invest Cuffs conferences organized every year, but not the first one at all. Last year, the chief analyst of Bankier.pl won a distinction in the 23rd edition of the Competition. Władysław Grabski for economic journalists organized by the National Bank of Poland. Krzysztof Kolany received an award in the category “Currency reserves and gold in the Polish economy – original analysis of their role in the stability and financial security of the state” for the text entitled Is 30% gold in foreign exchange reserves a good idea? This was the fourth award for our analyst in the competition organized by the National Bank of Poland.
Last year, Krzysztof also received, for the third time in a row, and for the fourth time in general, the Capital Market Hero award for the best economic journalist during the annual Wall Street conference in Karpacz organized by the Association of Individual Investors. He received the first Hero statuette in 2016.
