The Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom and the Siberian Federal University (SFU) signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at practical training of students of engineering specialties.
Particular attention will be paid to the faculties of the Institute of Engineering Physics and Radio Electronics.
“We have long been interacting with the Siberian Federal District: we conduct production practices for future signalmen, our experts participate in university events as experts. Having fixed this cooperation by the official document, we intend to increase the number of joint projects, which will allow students to deeply and systematically integrate into the technological and business environment, increase their interest in professional activities, ”said Alexei Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
The agreement provides for the expansion of initiatives, including seminars, master classes and the development of methodological materials. As a result, after graduation, graduates will be able to successfully work in the selected specialties.

The first Federal University of Russia is part of the TOP-20 leading universities in the country. Students from 55 countries study at the SFU, and the educational process covers almost 400 programs, providing a wide range of opportunities for training and professional development.
“We see our task, as a university leading university, not just in the reproduction of engineering personnel – it is important for us to prepare in close cooperation with a potential employer so that the graduate’s entry process in the working situation is as short as possible,” said Denis Gutz, the vice -rector of the Suphized Siberianular Company. – This can be done if educational programs are synchronized with industrial processes, and the student will learn “engineering creativity” and will not only copy technological trends, but will be able to form and even anticipate them. In such a dynamically developing industry as a connection and telecommunications – this is mandatory. ”
In addition to the agreement, the participants will develop a five -year action plan. Among the nearest there is the reinforcement of the Rostelecom training class on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk College of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies. Students of college and SFU will be engaged in it.
